On June 28th, the Digital Ecosystem and Agricultural Market Support Project (DEAM) Workshop organized by UNCDF was held at Wyndham Grand Hotel, Yangon. The workshop was attended by Daw Nang Nyo Hla (COO) of Early Dawn Microfinance and officials from the headquarters. Firstly, UNCDF representative gave an opening speech and explained the objectives of the workshop. After that, the officials of the MFI companies who attended discussed the challenges they face regarding digitalization and shared their experiences.
In the workshop, DAWN Microfinance also presented product updates, implementations and challenges in digital processes. After that, the officials answered and clarified the questions that the attendees wanted to know.
In the afternoon of the workshop, UNCDF representative gave a detailed explanation about the Digital Agricultural market ecosystem. And then, the officials of the relevant MFI companies also discussed and shared the challenges of the Digital Agricultural market ecosystem.
As the second agenda of the workshop program, representative from UNCDF, MFI, Agritech, Bank and Agir Input Supplier joined a panel discussion and then ended the event with a Networking Tea Break party.
