On March 12 and 13, 2026, DAWN Microfinance successfully held its second Operations Management Workshop for FY 2025–2026 at Mingalar Ballroom, Inya Lake Hotel, Yangon. The two-day workshop was attended by the CEO, CFO, COO, Senior Management Team, Department Heads, and responsible personnel from branches across Myanmar.
The workshop was organized with the objective of reviewing the performance and operational activities carried out during FY 2025–2026, as well as discussing and setting plans for the upcoming financial year.
On the first day of the workshop, the CEO, CFO, and COO delivered opening remarks and welcome speeches. The Operations Department then presented and discussed key topics related to Business Development and Branch Operations during FY 2025–2026. Group discussions and interactive activities were also conducted, providing an opportunity for branch representatives to raise questions, clarify uncertainties, and exchange ideas on current operational processes.
On the second day, representatives from various Head Office departments presented updates on their respective departments, including current conditions, completed activities, achievements, and challenges faced during FY 2025–2026. They also shared their plans, priorities, and key initiatives for the next financial year. These discussions contributed to stronger cross-functional collaboration and supported the development of more effective operational strategies for the coming year. In addition, Branch Awards achieved by branches during FY 2025–2026 were also presented.
At the end of the workshop, the CEO delivered closing remarks, and the second Operations Management Workshop for FY 2025–2026 was successfully concluded.
In the evening, all participants who actively engaged in the workshop were invited to a dinner reception. The evening program also included a birthday celebration for employees born in March, along with singing performances and entertainment, making the event both productive and enjoyable for everyone.
