| JOB PURPOSE
The Project Officer is responsible for supporting the effective planning, coordination, and implementation of the Microfinance Core Banking Project. This role ensures smooth communication between technical teams, financial institutions, and field offices, while assisting in data management, testing, and documentation activities. The Project Officer plays a key role in ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with the organization’s operational and financial inclusion goals. |

| KEY RESPONSIBILITY
• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of project activities under the guidance of the Project Manager. • Support data collection, analysis, and documentation related to CBS modules (savings, loans, deposits, member management, etc.). • Coordinate with financial institutions, field branches, and technical teams to gather functional and operational requirements. • Monitor daily project activities and ensure progress aligns with timelines and deliverables. • Prepare and maintain project reports, issue logs, and follow-up actions. • Support system testing, UAT coordination, and verification of migrated data. • Provide user support for CBS-related functional queries and escalate unresolved issues. • Assist in training and orientation sessions for end-users and field officers. • Facilitate communication between the implementation partner, vendor, and internal stakeholders. |

| PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology or Business Administration or related field. · 1 -2 years of working experiences in Banking, Microfinance or IT project support. · Familiarity with project documentation, testing, and reporting processes. · Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. · Excellent communication and coordination skills. · Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic project tracking tools. · Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines · Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility. · Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. · Adaptable to field conditions and capable of working with diverse stakeholders. · High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information. |
