 JOB PURPOSE

 This position will be based in Yangon with frequent visits to the branches in respective area.  The incumbent is responsible supervise and monitor Senior Finance Officers to be perform well in their duties and responsibilities and review the documentations which are in line with policy and procedure under the guidance of Finance Manager.

 Job Description

·       Liaising with Senior Finance Officers to make sure Branch Finance Staffs follow the Financial Operating Policies and Procedure.

·       Solving queries of branch finance operations reported by Senior Finance officers, Region Head and Managers from Operation team.

·       Providing technical trainings to Senior Finance Officers, Finance Officers, Finance Assistants and Tellers based on the branch needed.

·       Standardizing and implementing to create financial forms and formats as per requirements of branch operations

·       Assisting Finance Manager to set up the updated branch operational finance policies and procedure if needed

·       Making sure Senior Finance Officers to be aware of all products and services

·       Monitoring and Consolidating every Field Finance record and registers reported by Senior Finance Officers

·       Coordinating with Deputy Admin Manager/Deputy Business Manager for procurement process in which branch offices needed

·       Coordinating with Deputy Admin Manager for office leasing, motorbike leasing contracts and other admin activities based on the requirements.

·       Coordinating with Operation team for the queries of finance operations.

·       Coordinate with HR team for the recruitment matters in Branches/Head office.

·       Arranging finance trainings and meetings in branches if it is necessary.

·       Assist finance, operation and admin department when establishing new branch offices or merge branches.

·       Reporting to Finance Manager on a daily basis for any abnormal issues at branches reported by Senior Finance Officers.

·       Closely monitor branch office check out time and coordination with Operating team to achieve on-time office leaving time.

·       Closely overview branch situation and staff security in daily basic.

·       Monitor daily cash balance and coordination with Operation about fund transferring if it is under risk conditions.

·       Assisting to Finance Manager on Field Finance Team structure in line with categories and prepare PAF for new recruitment.

·       Monitor field visit plan of SFOs and guidance on solving the issue.

·       Verify and checking payment request for branch offices including zonal office by email.

·       Reporting Payroll Contact Person information of branches to HO treasury on when HR software has error.

·       Coordinating with saving operation team for Employee saving, Mini Loan Voluntary Saving process in Head Office.

·       Collecting data for entitle incentive list for field finance staffs on monthly basis.

·       Communicate with internal and external respective digital channel group about digital payment transaction error which is related with client given,

·       Frequently travelling to branch offices for checking supporting documents are comply with policy and procedures.

·       Carrying out any other duties as required in assigned areas.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

 

·       Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics or related area of study.

·       Minimum five year as Finance Officer or any other financial management working experiences. If working sector in microfinance or banking is preferable.

·       Good communication with clients and staffs, monitoring and planning skills

·       Computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets (Microsoft Word Tools)

·       Excellent communication skills in local and must Good Teamwork communications

·       Commitment to and understanding of aims, values and principles

·       Proven team working ability

·       Willingness to work in field office location

·       Local Residents are more preferred for Yangon based position.
