JOB PROFILE

Job Title : Deputy Project Manager
Location : Head Office, Yangon

Reports to : Project Manager
JOB PURPOSE:

A deputy project manager is responsible to support the project team members to meet the project deliveries and deadlines. The functions also involve coordination between end users and the vendors, tracking the project progress, following up on the outstanding actions and work closely with respective project managers and maintain project documentations and project plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in project planning and project timeline proposal
  • Make sure all the information regarding the projects are distributed on time to respective stakeholders.
  • Record the project documents systematically and shared to the stakeholders upon needed
  • Keep track of the project activities and report to project managers about the project status
  • Communicate to respective project stakeholders consistently and accurately on every piece of information
  • Prepare the meeting minutes for every project meeting attended and circulate to all the meeting participants in timely manner
  • Follow the organizations’ project management practices and policies
  • Identify the project risks by working with the project working team members and initiated for the remediation plans
  • Build good relationships with technical engineers, subcontractors, and vendors

·       Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Any University graduated preferably majoring in IT
  • Proven experience in small and medium-sized projects (experience in Microfinance is a plus)
  • Experienced in participating technical projects is a must
  • Excellent communication in Myanmar and English, both in speaking and writing
  • Experienced in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence and MS-Project is a bonus
  • Preferably to have experience in IT compliance or general control
  • Ability to work under pressure and willingly to learn new things
