Sr. System Engineer – Head Office, Yangon

A System Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems within an organization. Their role encompasses a broad range of technical skills and often involves integrating different subsystems to ensure they work together seamlessly.

• Installing and configuring system components, including servers, networks, and software applications.
• Conducting system testing to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability before deployment.
• Managing the deployment of systems into production environments, testing environment or UAT environment ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Manage the application vendors to ensure all the deployment activities follow the organization’s process and formality
• Continuously monitoring system performance and availability to detect and resolve issues promptly
• Diagnosing and resolving the software or applications problems.
• Applying updates, patches, and upgrades to system components to maintain security and performance.
• Responding to security incidents and breaches, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions
• Generating reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions for management review.
• Ensuring systems comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
• Implementing quality assurance processes to ensure system reliability, performance, and security especially for the change in the environment
• Prepare for CAB meeting for any changes in the production
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor

• Any University graduated preferably majoring in IT
• Proven experience as system engineer in any sector but experience in ISP or Telco is a bonus
• Experience in cloud computing such as AWS or Azure or Google Cloud
• Excellent communication in Myanmar and English, both in speaking and writing
• Good organizational skills and attention to details
• Preferably to have experience in IT compliance or general control
• Ability to work under pressure and willingly to learn new things
