In light of the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, DAWN is fortunate to receive a loan in local currency amounting to USD 4 million from Proparco, a French development finance institution.
The loan allows DAWN to continue advancing financial inclusion in Myanmar and supporting micro and small business enterprises (MSMEs). The funds are especially welcome during this crisis period, as microfinance institutions resume activities in a challenging operating environment and MSMEs cope with significant business impacts. DAWN aims to use the funds to help its clients towards recovery.
