Business Data Analyst – Head Office, Yangon

Mainly responsible and accountable for all aspects of Digital System operations including system user acceptance preparing reports, testing, implementation, deployment, support, maintenance and end user training.

·       Develop SQL Stored Procedures, Functions and Views according to business requirements.

• Understand the business requirements and translate them into effective and meaningful reports.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.

·       Provide recommendations based on data insights to optimize processes and achieve business goals.

• Draft reports and presentations for management to aid in crucial business decisions.
• Provide analytics support to the relevant business units and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare, collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, including customer databases and other relevant systems.
• Provide ad-hoc report requested by different internal departments.
• Develop user-friendly and actionable dashboards, graphs, and visualizations, and provide end-user training on these visualizations.

·       Develop the sql queries for Ad-hoc reports and support of reports for Internal team and Regulator like FRD.

• Knowledge for ETL process and data pipeline SQL Server Agent Jobs.

·       Experience in SQL Server, AWS cloud service.

·       Preparing the test cases and involve in UAT testing as team player and involve in Project Roll Out plan.

·       Solve the tickets of system Issues, user Issue, and complaints for MIS related system.

·       Able to travel if required.

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or relevant qualification.

·       Minimum 3 years’ experience in application development and database administrator.

·       Demonstrates proven working experience as a data analyst or similar roles, with strong analytical skills, capable of data analysis, trends identification, and result reporting.

·       Knowledge for Data Cleansing and Database Migration using the tools.

·       Preferable previous work experience in developing SQL scripts & API Integration.

·       Good analytical skills to support the Core Banking System and other systems.

·       Must demonstrate flexibility, independence, and self-motivation.

·       Effective communication skills and ability to communicate in English if required.

·       Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.

·       Able to work under challenging situations with minimum supervision.

·       Problem-solving skill, good in critical thinking and willing to learn new technologies.

·       Experience in Power BI and DAX Functions and Visualizations.

·       Sets ambitious and challenging goals for self and team, takes responsibility for own personal development, and encourages team to do the same.
