| JOB PURPOSE
This position will be based in Head Office, Yangon with frequent visits to the branches in respective area. The incumbent is responsible to overseas day-to-day field finance operations and supervise Field Finance Teams to be perform well in their duties and responsibilities. The position reports directly to the Head of Treasury and Field Finance and regular engagement with Division Heads and Chief Financial Officer. |

| Job Description
Leadership & Oversight · Lead and oversee the overall performance of the Field Finance Operations team across all branches, ensuring effective coordination, supervision, and adherence to policies and procedures. · Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to Finance Officers, Assistants, Tellers, and branch-level finance staff, fostering a culture of honesty, professionalism, and openness. · Frequently travel to branches and regional offices to monitor, support, and resolve field finance issues in a timely manner. Policy, Compliance & Internal Control · Review, maintain, and update field finance policies and procedures to ensure relevance, compliance, and efficiency. · Lead the implementation of fraud prevention measures and internal controls, including staff training, monitoring, and incident investigations. · Provide timely management responses to audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented according to agreed action plans. · Coordinate with the Admin/Operations Department for procurement processes as necessary. Systems & Digital Transformation · Oversee and monitor the implementation and operational effectiveness of the Core Banking System (CBS) and other finance tools across branch operations. · Act as focal point for branch-level system issues, ensuring prompt resolution in coordination with PMO, IT/MIS, and Digital teams. · Lead change management initiatives to support digital transformation, including adoption of digital repayments, digital agent transactions, and new finance platforms. · Standardize and improve financial forms, formats, and workflows to ensure consistent branch-level compliance and efficiency. Operational & Financial Management · Ensure accurate, timely recording and reporting of all daily transactions across branches in line with financial reporting standards. · Supervise processes related to employee saving accounts, deposits, withdrawals, and agreements at Head Office. · Monitor and analyze operational efficiency, reduce redundancies, and identify cost-saving opportunities in field finance operations. · Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives by providing input on branch-level finance operations. Strategic Support & Reporting · Consolidate feedback and reporting on system and operational performance from branches and provide recommendations for improvement. · Participate in strategic planning for finance operations, including rollout of new financial tools and digital initiatives. Carry out other duties as assigned in line with organizational priorities. |

| PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage). · Strong background in leading and managing large, particularly in branch-based or field finance environments. Experience · Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in field finance operations, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial role. · Mandatory experience in microfinance or banking sector, particularly in managing branch-level financial operations. · Proven experience in developing or updating policies and procedures, overseeing field audits, fraud prevention, and CBS/financial system implementation is highly desirable. Skills and Competencies · Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to guide and develop remote and branch-based finance teams. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. · High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of accounting or core banking systems is an advantage. · Effective communication skills in both Myanmar and English (written and verbal); ability to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders. · Strong coordination and planning skills, including the ability to work across departments (e.g., Admin, Operations, HR) and manage multiple priorities. · High level of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding organizational values. · Experience in preparing audit responses and managing implementation of audit recommendations.
