 Job Purpose

The role is to lead and monitor the team which supports the execution of business strategy by implementing new digital projects and providing data reports for internal use across the operations, external bodies and the regulators. He/she needs to oversee different initiatives and projects, monitor the progress and completion and ensures that they meet the users’ expectations. The role is responsible and accountable for all aspects of MIS operations including system design, implementation, deployment, maintenance, support training and reporting (data retrieval and production of data reports) work related to MIS projects/systems.

 JOB DESCRIPTION

·       Develop SQL Scripts for customized reports requested by internal departments

·       Data mapping with two systems for Data Migration Process

·       Leading all the UAT Testing, supporting the core banking projects roll out

·       Configure MIS upon upgrading or due to changes in the policies or methodologies

·       Support in upgrading systems when new release is available

·       Manage User Accounts on all MIS related systems

·       1st Level support for MIS related systems/projects

·       Monitor, control and support MIS related system issues, complaints and concerns

·       Supervise and manage all MIS users

·       Act as a focal person in preparing and checking the regulator (FRD) reports and MIS reports for the internal teams and Senior Management Team

·       Collaborate with the users from the other teams to understand the report requirements and data accuracy and validity in the reports

·       Respond to ad hoc information requirements/reports from internal departments

·       Participate in writing scripts for the customized report and ensuring all the scripts data are correct

·       Prepare training materials and lead in delivering training of various system for new staffs/ new system features

·       Undertake other ad-hoc assigned tasks

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

·     Master/bachelor’s degree in computer science or Information Technology or relevant qualification

·     Minimum 4 years’ experience in similar position

·     Preferable previous experience in MFI

·     Practical experience with a variety of software applications

·     Demonstrated working experience in MIS and digital projects

·     Proficient in the use of MIS Application and Microsoft Office

·     Can develop the SQL complex queries and knowledge for relational database system

·     Knowledge on Python and DBT tool

·     Excellent problem-solving and communication skill

·     Strong interpersonal skill and teamwork

·     Liaise well with team and end users

·     Possess ‘Can do’ attitude

·     Able to think outside the box

·     Can work independently and with team

·     Able to travel if require
